Tom Felton Meets the Superfans is a documentary on BBC 2 by Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), in which he investigates what it’s like to be a fan and why people are obsessive fans.

As part of the documentary he visited MCM Birmingham Comic Con in November. Reminiscent of when Daniel Radcliffe went to San Diego Comic Con incognito as Spiderman, Tom cosplayed as the Joker, disguising his identity with a full face of make-up so he could experience the comic con as a “normal” cosplayer. (That’s if cosplayers can ever be considered normal… only joking, you know we love you guys!)
We knew Tom Felton was going to be at Birmingham MCM and kept an eye out for him, but didn’t know he was going to be cosplaying. Even the most outlandish appearance blends in so easily at a comic con (remember when we completely missed Richard Ayoade in a bright orange suit at MCM London?!).
So when Tom Felton Meets the Superfans was shown on BBC2 we kept our eyes peeled and managed to spot our stall! We’re tenuously counting this as our second TV appearance, following a couple of glimpses of our stall on Gadget Man last year! (Or third, if you count when this guy wore one of t-shirts on TV….).
