MCM Manchester Comic Con 2016

MCM Expo Manchester Comic Con July 2016Come and see us at MCM Manchester Comic Con, at Manchester Central on 30-31 July 2016.

MCM Manchester is a smaller version of MCM London Comic Con, with lots of geeky things, stalls, special guests signing autographs, the Comic Village with independent artists, eSports, VidFest, cosplay and a stage with talks and panels. Comic cons like MCM aren’t just for people who like comics – if you like anime, manga, cosplay, geeky films and TV shows or games, you’ll enjoy it!

Cakes with Faces at MCM Manchester

We’ll be there with our biggest stall so far at MCM Manchester. Come and get our t-shirts, hoodies, cushions, dresses, watches and gifts, and say hello!

You’ll be able to get the new Shark Attack dresses before their official launch, as well as the new t-shirts Mehmaid and Hamsters in Teacups, before they’re on general release.

I always love meeting you at shows, so if we’ve talked on Facebook or Twitter, or if you watch my videos on YouTube, remember to tell me who you are!

MCM Manchester Floor Plan

We’ll be on block V, towards the back on the left side of the hall as you go in. Stick to the wall on the left and you’ll find us!

Tickets

You can get single day tickets, weekend tickets and priority entry, which allows you entry an hour or two hours before general entry. They’re all available from the MCM Expo website.

Remember to get your tickets in advance, because last year they sold out. We’d also recommend getting there in good time, because the queue to get in can be quite long, depending on when you arrive. Sunday is usually a little less crowded than Saturday.

Opening times:

  • Saturday 30th July
    • Priority entry: 9am – 6pm
    • General entry: 11am – 5pm
  • Sunday 31st July
    • Priority entry: 10am – 5pm
    • General entry: 11am – 5pm

UPDATE: See how it went!

I don’t usually make a video at MCM Manchester, but this time I thought I’d do something different and do a behind the scenes  vlog, to share what it’s like setting up, and what we do when we’re not at the stall. I’m not really planning on making many vlogs like this, but if you enjoy it let me know!
