Our YouTube video series is called All the Best Stuff is from Japan – but what’s the best thing from Japan? That’s what we asked in our second video from Hyper Japan Christmas Market in November 2014.
We had lots of fun talking to people around the show and at our stall – there are some funny moments and lots of clips of food, cosplay and fashion from Hyper Japan.
See if you can spot YouTube stars Kelsey Ellison and Abipop in the video! It was great to meet them – they were both really lovely. The video also includes Joe Inoue, Diana Garnet and Koike Miyu on stage – tiny Koike was so full of energy, I enjoyed watching her performance so much!
Thank you so much to Broken Doll for giving us permission to use their music in the video. They’re one of our favourite Japanese bands – we met them at Hyper Japan in the summer and went to their gig at the after party. The track on the video is called “Iikodenante Irarenai” from their Kawaii Rock Anthems CD. You can also download their music from iTunes.
